Boots and Next

This was the site of the Ricemans department store, replaced now by Fenwicks, which was moved as part of the Whitefriars development. You can see the large red brick building that was Ricemans in the archive.

There is still some building, or more accurately shop finishing, going on here. Hopefully these are the last few views of the purple sight screens that Canterbury has lived with for the last few years.

On the left is the bus station.
