Centre of St. Peters Street

The hanging baskets belong to 'The Cricketers', a Shepherd Neame pub. Originally called 'The Kentish Cricketers', it had a brief dalliance with being 'The Orange and Lemons Bar', before being turned back into a pub. As nature intended, some might say.

You can turn left after the pub and enter St.Peter's Lane leading to Pound Lane that follows the old line of the walls around the city.
