Causeway Sculptures

Causeway Sculptures

This carved wooden sign is on the edge of the little park, against the river. It says: 'Sculptures commemorating the Hurricane, 1987. Carved on site from fallen London Plane Trees.' It lists the people doing the work, but I've chosen to put this on the relevant photo.

The sculpures were removed in late 2004, the wood had rotted away and they were deemed to be dangerous.
