The cross here seemed to be a good feature so I took a picture of it. It's a war memorial. The inscription on the left hand side says: `In proud and thankful memory of the boys of Kings School who gave their lives for King and Country, 1914-1919'. Underneath on a separate panel it says: `and in the Second World War 1939-1945'. Kings is now co-educational. Behind are the 14th Century flint buildings that comprise most of the school.
