St. Margaret's Street
(Photo 1996)

The Cathedral peeps over the roofs in the centre of the City. The light brown building on the right here is the Marlowe Arcade.

The white building immediately on the left was Thresher's Wine Merchant, it remains a wine emporium, but has changed hands. It was the site of an interesting archaeological exploration in 1991/1992.

Turn left for Hawks Lane, you'll also find a link to the report from the Archaeological Trust on that page.
