Into Longmarket

We emerge out of the narrow lane into a small square that the locals think of as Longmarket. Actually the square was somewhat shunk in size by the new development, it was a larger area before. It's a pleasant place, attracting buskers and street performers.

Ahead is the main street: left is St.Georges Street, right is the Parade, and directly ahead is Rose Lane.
