End of St. Peter's street

We are reaching the end of Canterbury's main street. The buildings on the right are not old, they are a modern set of offices used to sell Sony Equipment and cars, reflecting the business interests of the Barrett family. The building on the extreme right is a replacement for one that was destroyed in a fire in December 1978. Canterbury Archaeological Trust undertook a survey of the building after the fire.
