St.Peters Lane
(Photo 2002)

St.Peters Lane winds its way to Pound Lane on the edge of the city. The church is St.Peter's. It was built very simply, probably in the 11th century. The West Tower was added later, at the time of the Norman Conquest, using some salvaged roman material.
