Into Mercery Lane

Mercery Lane leads away from the Cathedral and towards the centre of the city. The narrow lane is overhung by buildings. On the extreme right here is the back entrance to Debenhams.

The building underneath the scaffolding on the left was the subject of a report in the Canterbury Archaeological Trust's 17th Annual Report, 1992/1993.
